Let US make wraps for YOUR beeswax wrap brand!

Want your own brand or side-hustle? Run an e-commerce business or sell on Etsy? Participate in the holiday craft fair & summer farmer’s market community?

Let US do the time consuming & tricky part and send you ready-to-sell, professional quality, handmade beeswax wraps with your own custom designs and brandingYOU do the fun part: creating the brand and growing your business.

Beeswax wraps are a tried-and-true sellable product, and we make incredibly good ones. We have nearly a decade of manufacturing experience with our specialized equipment, and we have the buying power to access raw materials for you at wholesale prices. We know what we are doing and we are FAST. Use our experience, connections and equipment to your advantage.

I understand more than anyone the TIME and detail that goes into crafting small batches of beeswax wraps at home. After all, I did it for years. I also spent subsequent years investing in equipment and improving our product by trying different fabrics, printers, wax ratios and waxing methods. I'm offering you a shortcut past all of this, allowing you to focus on marketing, building community and making money. Your wraps won't have any trace of the Bee Kind brand on them, but they will OOZE Bee Kind quality.

How will it work?

Your first task is to decide which patterns you want on your beeswax wraps. Do you want to offer wraps with one design? Two? Three? Our designs are unique to our brand, just as yours should be unique to your business! Make sure to take your time here and choose designs you and your customer will love. You can purchase design files from websites like this: https://patternbank.com/studio/10-floral OR, you can work with a designer to create something more custom. We can also give you some direction in terms of which designs and colours will work best for beeswax wraps!

Once we receive your design file, we will order a sample of the fabric from our printers to make sure you're happy before we place your larger fabric order. We can order fabric via rush or slow shipping. If you aren't in a rush, you can save some money here! Fabric ordering is the slowest part of the process, and you should factor in 6-10 weeks for this process.

Once we receive your fabric, we will begin the waxing and manufacturing process at our warehouse in Vancouver, BC (Canada!). This process is much quicker, and you can expect us to complete all your wraps within 2-3 weeks.

We will be cutting your wraps to your desired dimensions/sizes, and we will work with you to advise the most economical way to cut your wraps into sizes that your customers will want!

We will then ship your quality-checked, flat stacked (by size) wraps to you - ready for you to package and prep for sale as you need them. While we can look at packaging your wraps for you in the future, we do advise doing this process yourself the first time around. From our experience, you're very likely to have edits in the way you package your wraps in the beginning, and it would be a shame for packaging to go to waste or for you to be redoing this process. For example, perhaps you realize that mixed patterns / mixed sizes / same sizes / bundles etc sell better than your original packaging plan. Let's keep your options open the first time around.

Key numbers to think about upfront:

  • The service we are providing to you will cost you ~40-50% of the revenue you will earn reselling these wraps (if you go by current market value of beeswax wraps).
  • We will require a deposit covering the cost of the custom fabric before we place the order with our printers. A second deposit will be required for us to start manufacturing, and full payment will be required before they are shipped to you.
  • Working with custom fabric does require minimum order quantities. For a single pattern, the printers require an amount that will yield you the equivalent of 700 sets (a small, medium and large wrap in Bee Kind terms) in a single order. If you are ordering multiple patterns, we can get this down to approximately 500 sets of each pattern. In my opinion, (from one smaller maker to another) you should be confident that you can sell the amount of wraps you order within a year. For context, in our first years when we sold exclusively on our website and approximately 12 craft fair days a year, we sold about 3000 sets of wraps annually.
  • While we guarantee you high quality beeswax wraps, how many wraps you sell is completely dependent on you and your own marketing capabilities. For example, an Etsy store could sell 2 or 25 sets a day, you could sell 5 or 100 sets a day at a farmer's market. Your creativity and hustle will determine your sales. As a customer of ours, you are always welcome to call me up (hey! I'm Evan, the founder of Bee Kind) and use me as a sounding board for your ideas. I'm happy to mentor your small business journey.
